Robert F. Magill, Jr., LLB, LLM

Since coming to Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1973, Bob has successfully helped non-profit organizations, businesses and individuals with lawsuits and transactions.  His work is primarily in litigation, business transactions and real estate.  He is known as a strong and able litigator with a deep knowledge of the law.

Among Bob's successes is a case that received national publicity, when he defended the publication by a non-profit publisher of a book on the Shroud of Turin.  He also won a zoning case at the Michigan Supreme Court that established new constitutional law.

Bob helps business start-ups and represents clients in all types of business transactions including the purchase and sale of existing businesses.  He represents business and non-profit clients in commercial and real estate transactions and disputes.  Bob has also helped many individuals recover damages in personal injury claims.

In addition to his busy practice, Bob enjoyed being an  adjunct professor at Ave Maria School of Law,  teaching Business Organizations (agency, partnership, corporation, limited liability company).

Ralph S. Rumsey, MBA, JD

Ralph's professional practice is devoted to representing nonprofit, tax-exempt and charitable institutions, and persons and organizations supporting these institutions. He is counsel for a number of national and international tax-exempt and charitable organizations, as well as numerous local or regional organizations. In addition to counseling and representing various nonprofit, tax-exempt and charitable organizations, Ralph has served as an officer and/or director of several nonprofit organizations, both local and national in scope. He has served as president of a tax-exempt and charitable organization headquartered in New York and has gained practical experience in the management of associations. He has served as Chair of the Planned Giving Roundtable of Southeast Michigan.

Cevin C. Taylor, JD

Cevin is a native of Michigan and he has lived in the Ann Arbor area since coming to study at the University of Michigan in 1984.  He focuses his practice on nonprofit and tax exempt organizations, estate planning, real property law, and business law.  He holds a Certificate of Completion in the areas of probate and estate planning issued by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan.  Cevin is a member of the Non-profit Corporations Committee of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan.  Before beginning his practice at Magill & Rumsey, P.C., he worked as a Prehearing Attorney with the Research Division of the Michigan Court of Appeals.  Cevin can speak, read, and write Spanish fluently.

Fionnuala M. Holowicki, LLB, LLM

Nuala's practice has a major focus on representing nonprofit and tax exempt organizations. She began her legal career in Belfast, Northern Ireland with a focus on personal injury and business litigation and family law. In one notable case she represented plaintiffs who obtained a record-breaking settlement. Since moving to the United States, Nuala attained an advanced law degree with a specialty in employment issues and passed the Michigan Bar. She has practiced law in Ann Arbor since 1995.  In addition to nonprofit and tax exempt law, she maintains involvement in litigation and employment law.

Nuala has extensive experience volunteering with different nonprofit organizations in many capacities, including president of the board of directors for a social services organization. She brings her insights and enthusiasm for the work of nonprofits to her practice.
